Some advice on cues?

I don't think it has to be that complicated. Provided you are already starting out in close to her space and that you're not awkwardly trying to reach across a span greater than inches (to a foot at the furthest, though that might be pushing it, I think).

1 You do something. Maybe you move in even closer, put your arm around her, whatever.

2 Then you wait for a response. Often, you can and should keep doing whatever you just started doing. (i.e., if you start stroking her back, keep doing that for a little while, until you get tired of it and want to do something different.)

3 Based on her response, you will know how to proceed. If she pulls back when you come into her space or does something similar. Then cool it a bit and try again later. But assuming that she's into you, she would probably lean into whatever you do or respond in some way that says she likes being touched.

Read the Vin DiCarlo Escalation Ladder.

One aspect that this document doesn't address is that escalation is a "compliance test." You escalate, and if she is compliant, you continue escalating. But if you escalate and she resists, you have hit her maximum level of compliance. You scale back, and then start building more comfort and attraction, then try to escalate again. If you push past her comfort level, she will resist and become uncomfortable. But just because she resists now doesn't mean she will resist later. Getting compliance at lower levels builds "compliance momentum." Some people call this the "Yes Ladder," one yes primes someone to say yes to the subsequent request.

Now that's all just theory. To make it more practical, you have to be sensitive to the signals a woman gives. Most guys are oblivious to the subtle signals women give. But watch closely. If she's resistant, stop pushing.
