Okay, so this is my first post on seddit! Now I want to start by saying that I am in the process of bettering my self confidence not only when it comes to women but in general too.

Now I would not have been a believer in the seddit style of picking up women if it had not been for a friend of mine. My friend is a natural PUA, no joke. Before I had even heard of reddit I would witness my friend (lets call him Donovan, I like that name) picking up women with many of the same techniques that seddit promotes ex: touching, being friendly toward every one, having confidence, and more!

I would like to share a couple of the techniques that he uses that I have not yet seen on seddit.

  • Complimenting women. Now I have noticed that for the most part seddit would advise against opening a set with a compliment especially if you have an HB8+. However, he doesn't simply say "You're beautiful" or "You're cute". No, he will say things like "I like your hair style" or "That's a cute dress" or "I like those shoes, where did you get them?" These types of compliments are more specific than your averages ones and can be more effective because girls put a lot of effort into how they look. You always see women giving these types of compliments to other women but rarely do you see men doing the same thing. Sometimes it helps to think like a girl!

  • Being surrounded by people. This means men and women. Some guys will often have little to no interest in hitting the town to make more male friends, but the thing is that why not #close the men in the group as well? The goal here isn't to sleep with these men (unless ;-) that is what you want) but to meet more women! If you make more male friends you will at the same time make more female friends! When he first told me this I thought that it was absolutely brilliant. Why? Because it is 100% true. Plus you make new male friends who (will most likely) not be competition!

I also want to point out that he is brilliant at social proof. No matter where he goes he knows some one. Funny story, this one time me, Donovan, and a female friend of ours were getting gas. The female points out that there is a guy on a unicycle riding by (something you don't see every day) and Donovan yells out "Chris!" the guy on the unicycle heads over to Donovan and starts talking to him. Obviously they knew each other from somewhere. The lady friend laughs and says "Of course Donovan would know the guy on the unicycle!" So that just gets you an idea of what kind of social proof this man has. Any where he goes whether its a coffee shop, a restaurant, or even a gas station, he looks like a regular.

Now I know that these techniques have probably been posted somewhere on seddit at some point but I figured that it wouldn't hurt to share these for folks that haven't seen them before. And please feel free to post any techniques that you have not seen on seddit before!
