I work with a lot of Latina/Hispanic women who speak mostly Spanish. I started talking to one beautiful girl today and quickly realized she didn't know a word of English.

I'm not good at Spanish but I studied in school for several years. I probably sound stupid but I can form basic sentences.

Anyway I just smiled and laughed about it. She found it endearing and laughed along with me.

Could this type of move work or do I sound dumb to them since I talk kinda slow and am very limited lol.

Also looking for any online resources, ideally free, that I could use to sharpen my Spanish skills.
