For those not in college:

I'm sure plenty of people on here spend lots of time reading/learning/working (while not at work), which is an inherently solo activity. It would be great to find some places to do this sort of stuff, while not being at home alone. It's probably not a high probability of meeting someone if you are focused on something else, but it seems like a good idea to be out there.

So thoughts on places to do things like this? Public library, coffee shop, what else?

Is this a good idea? Advantages/Disadvantages? Tips on meeting people like this?
