Physical escalation is what I do. Just make sure you're in the right situation to do so. Don't physically escalate at work, around old people, or any other place that is obviously uncomfortable. Around other people is usually fine but if the girl is worried about being judged you gotta get her by herself before physical escalation. Literally touch her arm or something, gage the reaction and go from there. Verbal escalation could be a well placed compliment In between the teasing.

For Statement of Intent, look up the old Juggler/Wayne Elise Material since it is his.

That said, opening direct (like I saw you and had to meet you, You are f-ing adorable, etc) does show direct interest. You don't have to open direct to do it though (indircet playful works too)....you just need to use an SOI (like telling her something about her is sexy (smile, style, accent, eyes, etc) or getting her to visualize doing X (dating, kissing, sex, etc) with you.

Do what Todd does. When you open, you can either go direct and say “hey, how’s it going? Thought you were cute.” Or you’re talking and then she says something and you can say something like “oh wow, keep talking like that and I may just have to marry you” or “yeah I can already tell this won’t work between us, you’re cute but too feisty for me and I don’t think I can handle you” or something (would be better with context since what I wrote sounds like a weird neg). Basically, anything can be direct as long as you make it about your intentions with her.
