I just wanted to share a little experienced I had the other night a bar.
So, the other night I was out and I saw this really cute looking girl on the dance floor. I had approach anxiety. I was too scared to go up and talk to her. So I basically just stood around like a creep for about 10 mins with my friend just staring at her making excuses not to go up and approach her. They'd range from "I don't know what to say" to "That girl is grinding with her maybe that's her girlfriend."
So after a while I just got fed up with myself and just said fuck it. So, I just walked up to her tapped her shoulder while she was dancing with her friend and told "Hey, I like how you're wearing plaid today it's extra gay of you. And how your beanie matches your shirt." She was receptive and complimented my chain.
She then introduced me to her friend she was dancing with. Then her friend dragged her away.
I was a little sad i didn't number close her right then and there because I couldn't find her again.
Then finally near the end of the night I found sitting on a stool near the dance floor. She was DD so I guess she wasn't having too much fun. So after I found her again I wasn't going to pass her up this time and was very blunt and said "Hey, I think you're really cute can I have your number?" and it worked like a charm.
I know she gave me her actual number because her snapchat name shows up in the contacts. Even if she didn't reply to my text. It's still a win to me because I was able to. Get over my approach anxiety and easy outs.
Just go out and do it. What's the worst that could happen they say no? Its better to live in a moment of rejection that a lifetime of regret.
