I was with a female friend last night, and, like our last few hangouts, she updated me on the many ways in which her ex won't let go: 5-10 texts overnight (while she's sleeping), each getting more and more desperate for a response. Sometimes several in a row just say, "...?..."

He shows up at her house, posts on her FB wall, sends her e-mails, calls her.

He thinks he's taking the right steps to either get her back, be fuck buddies, maybe just get back to being pals.

He's WRONG. He's pushing her away. The harder he tries, the more she wants to sever all ties. It's pathetic to witness from the outside. It's pathetic to her. DO NOT BE THIS GUY.

DELETE! Delete her FB, block her from seeing your page. Delete her number, from your phone and everytime she texts you. Just delete her from your life. I know it sounds impossible, but FORGET her completely.
