You do know that in the average man or woman's life from the second they become an adult until about 15 years later this is the most relateable and excusable reasons that exist on earth?

If you are so disconnected from society at large that you don't find young women not being available on a Saturday to meet a rando because she's socialising with her actual friends particularly believable, it might have been as plain to her as it is plain to me that you are deeply off-putting.

In my honest opinion, she wouldn’t have texted you after you hung up the phone unless she was still interested. Sometimes the circumstances just don’t work out, so if I was you I’d give her a second chance!

You said she made a big impression on you, but the question is did you leave a very big impression on her? Because many times men like to project their own feelings onto the woman in an act of self-delusion. Just because you feel strong about someone doesn’t mean that the feeling is mutual.

For instance, you said that you approached her and got her number. What i take from that is that the approach was very short, as in you ask for her number within 2 minutes or even less than a minute since the approach started as in “_Hey girl! I think you are cute. I was wondering if I could get your number_”

This is not a recommended action. Because while a woman may give you her number straight away, you are still a total stranger that got her number. The impression therefore isn’t strong and the conversation that happens in person matters far more than the conversation that happens on the phone.

You may feel that you are entitled to her number and to a date just because you had the balls to approach her, as if you deserve to be rewarded by her with a date for being one of the few guys who had the guts to cold approach her. But the reality doesn’t work that way.

When a stranger is interested in her, women have basic objections that are reasonable. One of them is:

Who is this guy and why should I trust that he won’t harm me?

In other words, she is wondering:

Are you a scammer or a thief? a kidnapper? A rapist? Someone who will put chloroform in her drink? Someone who will not respect her boundaries?

Will you pressure her to do something she doesn’t want to do or try advances that are unwanted or that she is not ready for if she meets up with you? Will you be a stalker who is obsessed about her and will not stop texting her or calling her or even showing up at her house demanding explanations as to why she is ignoring him? Will you put roofies in her drink or any other drug to sexually assault her?

You probably have not even thought about any of this common objections women have about stranger men. Her female friends surely have reminded her of them even if she doesn’t think about it, hence that’s when the excuses to not go out with you begin.

Because imagine you had a daughter, would you be ok with her going with any random dude that she barely knows at all? You would be a bad father if you didn’t worry about the potential danger your daughter could face because there are a lot of assholes and bad men with awful intentions out there.

You can’t assume that just because you know you are a good man, that she has to know that or trust you. And no, just because you had a 30 min call over the phone doesn’t really remove all those objections. Hence why the first interaction in person is important because that’s your chance to get to each other for 10 mins or more, and get her to feel more at ease, you have a bigger chance to say things that will ease her concerns before she has time to think about them.

But look how clueless you are that instead of putting yourself in her shoes, all you are thinking is “_the lack of respect is unacceptable to me_”.

You think she is disrespecting you, when in reality she is thinking about her own safety.

Talk about miscommunication and being self-centered Dismissing and disregarding her legitimate concerns and feelings about going out with stranger because your interests and desires are more important

Rather than continuing to ask over and over for a date and getting frustrated that she cancels, how about you simply try to ease her concerns by empathising with her, making her feel understood, and giving her practical solutions or answers that addresses her safety concerns.

For example:

Rather than offering a one on one date, it might be better to suggest a group outing with your friends and her friends or going on a double date.

I understand that this is not ideal for you because you don’t care about her friends, you want to meet her only, and have intimacy.

But since you are stranger who barely talked to her in person, maybe that simply is not gonna happen and the best way is to take it a bit more slow hang out with more people including her and then eventually offering a second date this time just you and her.
