me and my wings have been discussing this a lot. When you start out is it better to learn game using the structured game methodology and then shift to a more unstructure/natural game when you are intermediate?

I have read the field reports of a few successful pimps, and it seems one of the common themes seem to be that they start out using a structured gaming style such as mystery method or magic bullets, and then shift to a more natural style of gaming.. what are your thoughts?
