I hope I don't annoy you with beginner stuff, but I'm really confused about myself right now. I started practicing the game halfheartedly when I started with uni this September and it worked really well. I got in contact with many new girls, got a couple of numbers and I think I generally made a good impression just with basic eye contact and body contact. It came to the point where it seemed like I was the person who had contact to the most people in my course, since I also knew multiple guys from earlier phases in my life. It felt great and some girls, who I occasionally talked to, even knew me already because they have been observing my actions. But it seems like I got totally overwhelmed by all of that. I've never been a big extrovert or anything, and I wasn't aware of what responsibility comes with knowing that many people. I just barely managed to remember most of their names but what really was hard is to show everyone that I value them, even though I really do enjoy them (I didn't force that). And people seem to be annoyed when I only can say "Hi", because I'm busy talking to someone else, or if I didn't know what to say. So some of them kinda turn their back towards me now and it all calmed down radically lately.

I always hated when everything there is to talk about is education and school problems and everything becomes monotonous. But right now that's exactly whats happening. I see myself becoming lazy. I don't feel the need to talk to someone new because I tell myself that I met enough people now. I feel like all I say is worthless and just not entertaining. And my social skills are somehow on the level they used to be before the start at uni. I can't hold eye contact that well anymore and such. I think it has been all my life like that that I leave a pretty good first impression but my self-doubt somehow denies a longer relationship with anyone.

I never actually had a date with any of the girls, because there was always something that got in between somehow or I decided to not ask her out. It's just weird, no matter how, but in the end, I always spend all my energy to hit on the wrong girls and wait too long with the one's who would have been the better choice. Why do I always make the wrong choice? Should I just stop picking up girls on the campus and maybe go for it somewhere else?
