Im thinking of implimenting study groups to socialize. A friend of mine before I transfered to another university told me that the best approach to friends is to talk to everyone in the class. Dont focus on getting laid focus on the people in the class. The people that you meet will see that you are a social magnet if they notice that you can chat up anyone and be chill you will seem more desirable to hang out with as you have all the connections. just stay away from topics like religion, politics, death, never complain, work. If you find someone switching to those topics make a funny remark trying to change the topic and dont make it seem obvious.

I started this when I was 17, I have been always a thinker, very serious and quite introvert, when I was a kid I was bullied all the time, I had very low self esteem, I couldn't even keep eye contact.

Now I am 29, doing a Ph.D and my situation with girls is very different, the secret?

Just follow the next steps:

1- Approach girls and do not complain
2- Be patient, do not expect that all your life will improve suddenly.
3- Repeat until you are great with girls.

I know it sounds simple but actually following these steps will help you to develop a strong habit, nowadays for me "sarging" is normal, part of my life, and perfectly adapted to my daily life, it will be confusing sometimes and difficult but trust me, it is worth it, and do not try to use "shortcuts" or falling into the idea of magic pills.

PS Stop the gym if you want to get better with girls, then approach girls, there will be a time for hitting the gym, not now.

I have kind of a lot to say to you bro so bare with me. Being an introvert has nothing to do with being good at socializing or being out going. It only means you spend energy by being around a lot of people as appose to gaining energy. So just go ahead and stop using introversion as a crutch. When you get tired, rest.

Your problem is you, not your “situation”. There’s nothing stopping you from going out, solo if you have to, and opening sets. If you don’t have any time then it’s not important enough for you to make time. Or maybe you are filling up your time and using a lack of time as an excuse not to change.

I read somewhere that the quality of your life is in direct proportion to the amount of uncertainty you can comfortably deal with. You probably went your whole life doing things that you are pretty dam certain of and the quality of your life will be an exact reflection of that. Stop looking for for comfort in certainty and make uncertainty your new best friend.

I was very uncertain about going out solo gaming in a new city. So I started doing it a lot and I became very comfortable with that uncertainty. The reward for doing that was amazingly worth it. There’s no uncertainty in jerking off right now so the reward from that will be equal to the uncertainty of it. I’m not going to pat myself on the back for jerking off and you won’t feel much from doing things that you are really certain of either. Start there my friend and everything will start to change. Just make sure you are doing what you actually want and not doing only doing the things you are certain of.

You should probably do a cold approach regime. Forget trying to do it socially if that's not your thing. All you need is one woman who's cute and an introvert too. You two would get along fine and have the affection that you're looking for. If you think that sounds like a good approach, read this book called Make Women Chase You. In this book are 25 cold approaches all laid out with what to do, what the goals are, etc. They start really easy and get progressively harder. If you like the first 5 but the latter ones seem like too much, just keep repeating the first 5. Do it until you meet that one girl to fulfill your life. The book lays everything out. That's what makes this book so unique. You're not just reading about seduction, like with models. This book is an action plan to get you what you want.
