Just wanted to say thanks guys. This sub has improved my mentality about a lot of things not just women and just overall quality of life.

Had a date with this girl who I normally would have said was out of my league, but took the bull by the horns and asked her out. Lo and behold we have so many things in common and got along so well; best date I've had in years. Used all the advice and then some: took her to a happy hour, vibe was good so popped to a few more bars, was in proximity of my place, talked about what i loved, didnt seek validation, was confident, f-closed.

Now we have a tentative second date over the weekend. Success!!!
