I sometimes wear sunglasses in the London Underground... Not because it's sunny, not because I think I look cool, but simply because I was wearing them outside and I can't be assed to take my backpack off, find my case, put my shades in the case, put the case back in my bag and put my rucksack back on..

If you think I'm a douchebag that's totally ok with me. I've saved some hassle/scratching them by putting them in my pocket etc.

It's douche baggy but I sometimes leave mine on when I enter the subway (NYC) because the fluorescent lighting sucks

Some people do look great with sunglasses some don't, depends on their style, and wearing them inside is the same, if it fits it's a nice accent. Thinking about it, they sell vanity glasses (regular glasses with simple window glass in them) and there are actually people who wear them...

Not everyone's cup of tea, but honestly, why would you give a fuck about other people's opinions on if they like it? You will never be able to make it right for everyone, and you should not try, it's just pathetic. You do you, and if you can pull off a great style, do it.
