All life is animated by the pursuit of natural objective (Survival,Replication ...there are additional inherent qualities but they are not relevant to this argument).

Human beings are life and all life in some quality will be engaged in the maintenance of homeostasis (Survival) and replication. A reward system has evolved to compel action towards survival and replication.

Human beings experience the world through physiological mechanisms that have inherent limitations. The human eye has a can only see so far, the ear can only hear certain frequencies.

Additionally there is a link between our sensory information and internal reward.

That means that if the reward system cannot receive accurate environment information and behavior contrary to the pursuit of natural objective (Survival, Replication...) may be rewarded. Even behavior that is conducive with natural objective may not yield reward.

The stimulation of internal reward is then the pursuit of human life.

Many adopt the path of the PUA because of craving, because of suffering and the search for reward/alleviation.

Sex is connected to our experience of reward, however the pursuit and maintenance of sexual relationships have potential for great suffering.

Therefor the goal of the PUA should not be the attainment of sex but the mastering the rewards and craving that are in essence sexuality.
