Don't worry about pauses. Don't try to play on neediness. Literally just be who you are. If there's chemistry it will work. Games are for immature people. Don't fall into that trap.

You are already working form behind by going on a date in the first place. A date usually automatically frames you as the one chasing. It also frames you as the provider type as well as another regular guy. Now there are ways to get around this of course but why do all of that work? If your goal is to get laid then go to clubs and bars and just pull girls the same night you meet them. Then go on a date AFTER you sleep with them and you get to know them, that way you aren't wasting your precious time. Every date I have ever gone on has ended in sex because I already slept with her lol. I've also never been on a bad date because I only go on dates with girls that I already know I like to hangout with. Dates are suppose to be fun for you and her. They aren't suppose to be work for you in the hopes that you get laid. That shits for the birds bro.

Go on these dates and see if these women can invest in the conversation. See if these women are funny or at least fun to be around. It's not your job to do everything. Let them show interest in you to win you over. Have you ever seen a hot chick try to get the attention of a guy she likes? It's possible for women to try to win you over.

If she's showing that she's not interested (playing on her phone, constantly answering texts, etc) or bored after you trying to put in your effort. Call it an early night.

"This doesn't seem to be working out. Let me drive you home."

Most guys don't do this. Instead, they try even harder and sometimes the woman doesn't want to be rude, but is suffering inside. She will appreciate this if she is bored or she may try to be more attentive if she is interested but trying to play it cool.

Start getting women on your terms. When you're at the mercy of women, they lose respect for you. When you start getting women on your terms, you'll be the guy who they're trying to win over. If you get her or not, when you adopt this mentality, you'll see how much more confident and relaxed you'll feel.
