If you want to improve and become the best version of your self, take the damn time and read/watch the books/videos. Change comes slowly, it can take months before you notice significant changes. As long as you keep persisting and going for the change, you will be the person you want to become.

First, you need to work on your attitude:

Don't fall into the 'Nice guy' mentality. That's just a by word for feeling sorry for yourself - that's going to get you nowhere.

Have you ever seen 'Cool Runnings?' There's a bit in it where John Candy's character is asked why he cheated at the Olympics, despite already having a gold medal. His response? 'If you're not good enough without a gold medal, you'll never be good enough with one.'

The gold medal was filling a void in his self-esteem, much like you're expecting having a girlfriend will do for you. But the reality is that the only one who can fill that void is you - you have to become emotionally independent. You do that by working on yourself: hit the gym, take up a hobby, read a lot, travel - girls want to date interesting, independent guys that add to their life rather than take from it.

Now, when it comes to talking to girls, the answer is pretty simple: you just have to fucking talk to them. Trust ms when I say we've all been there, and we've all experienced approach anxiety. We've all been socially conditioned into believing it's a bad idea to talk to girls because of the embarrassment that might follow, but really, what's the worst that could happen? She tells you to fuck off? Is that so upsetting that it would stop you from saying 'Hi'?

Of course it's awkward and difficult at first, but that's how skills are acquired: through practice and through trial and error. Just go over and introduce yourself and take it from there. Don't worry about getting every girl, just make sure you're taking action and the results will follow - I swear it'll all be worth it when you get that first number. 😉
