Hi guys. I have seen a lot of great advice related to texting in a typical message setting and on Tinder. However, I feel like I am having a crisis in deciphering when to do the usual back and forth to get the girl to be interested and make an investment in the conversation (asking her about what she does, interests, etc.) while being exciting and different to not get mixed in with all the other guys probably texting her at the same time.

I feel like every time I start texting a girl I am just going through an exercise to show how I lack creativity and can't think for myself. I am someone who is really good at following by example so I would appreciate seeing how someone is able to toe around having a text convo without coming off as some nice but typical guy.

Right now I am trying to text on Tinder and I just feel so generic that I cannot get a girl to have any emotional investment in the conversation.

TLDR: Can anyone provide an example how to have a short convo via text before leading into a meet up?
