I go to a major university in the south. Thanks to a snow day on Tuesday (and Wed and Thurs), so my buddies and I hit the bars on Tuesday night.
After more than a few drinks we hit the dance floor with a few female friends, just having a good time and drunkenly shooting the shit. One of my buddies points a girl out who is giving me the eye. My friends more or less shove me into her. I ask her to dance, she's clearly interested and says yes. We grind for a while and I ask her if she wants a drink, she says yes. We talk for ~10 minutes before she realizes all her friends are gone. She grabs my phone, puts her number in, says "call me," and leaves.
Now Thursday, I remember what happened and look her up on FB. This girl is gorgeous. Today, Friday, I give her a text asking what she's up to tonight. Says he has to work but clearly remembers me. Says she had fun. Jokingly blames me for losing her friends. But all of a sudden the convo seems to go cold:
Me: Yeah I remember that! You owe me one for just running off. Her: haha oh hush. you made me lose my friends! Me: I did not! You were just too enchanted by my dance moves. It's settled then, you owe me a round 2 Her: Maybe!! Ha
The "maybe" and single "ha" seem like a cold shoulder. Any ideas? I do fine actually talking to women but have a pretty bad texting game.
