Bro they already get hit on/stared by 95% of dudes there. Its annoying. They're already on guard, and besides they're there to work out and focus on themselves, not socialize/hook up. Of course its a bad idea. Not saying there is not a possibility for success. I would just say that there are better places where women may be more open to conversation.

I disagree. I say it depends on the situation. Is she in the middle of her workout? Is she taking a break? A sip of water? Did you smile at her/interact with her briefly before getting the number? The main thing here is to gauge whether she will be okay with you getting her number or not. Most guys jump into it without receiving friendly signals and then it doesn’t go there way. The gym is the best place if you want a fit woman. 9/10 she values her appearance and takes care of herself. Women want to be approached but they want to be approached by people they are attracted to. Enough said.

I think the key is don’t interrupt her workout... if you’re both waiting for a class or getting water or she’s like looking for an attachment for cable machine or something, it’s one thing to try and opener. But don’t make her pull out her EarPods AND stop what she’s doing... that’s so low percentage (and kind of rude) that it’s not worth doing...

Bc it sucks for the girl. It’s like trying to talk to chicks at work. She will want to be nice to you since it could be awkward since you both still go to the same gym, but that doesn’t mean she’s into it and she can’t just say if she isn’t for that reason
