The craziest thing happened to me today. There was this girl I had set plans to meet Monday evening. But when I texted her once Saturday and once Sunday, she didn't respond. Now it is Monday and I still haven't heard from her and I don't know if our date is still on. Instead of texting her a third time, I evaluated the situation. If she is not responding to my text messages that could mean two things, either she is too busy or she is not interested in me. With this in mind, I decided not to send a text asking whether we were on or not. As time would have it, she sent me a text asking if we were on or not. By being patient I got her to send the confirmation text. Had I sent a third text in a row I would have looked needy and impatient. Hence it is always a good idea to take a step back, evaluate the situation, and act with patience in mind.
