I followed some of the stuff posted here and have improved well from when I was years ago.

However, a recurring problem that I have is that I might be thinking too long-term instead of the now.

After meeting a girl, chatting her up and get some chemistry going, my mind will inevitably evaluate her as a potential partner. Now the problem with this is that my mind will then ask some serious questions like "Well, this girl is fun but will she be a stable life partner?".

The obvious outcome of this is that my mind will eventually find some excuse to disqualify her. I have passed up many girls because of this and have regretted not just going for some of them.

Now you may say that "F*ck it man, just have fun in the moment". I know that is the case. But I don't want to also have one night stands all the time.

Am I f*cking overthinking it?
