I am by no means a pro, but a huge part of my development in seduction was moving away from the view of seduction being a mechanical process, an algorithm where you do "n" number of steps before arriving at your desired outcome.

The terminology used in this subreddit or PUA in general are words used to identify not man-made artificial phenomena, but deeply ingrained intuitions that pop up when with someone you are trying to attract. One of my biggest issues as I continue my growth was understanding this. Techniques like push and pull aren't something you learn, its already within you. Coming to this subreddit I just became aware of what I've been doing all my life, and that allowed me to use it more appropriately.

Without this realization I was the try hard PUA dude doing palm readings and shit. But there is so much more to seduction that reading sweaty palms or "defusing" shit tests. Seduction is not learned, you are just made aware of what is already a part of you.

And I think that is such an important realization, because it puts you in an empowering position. Its no secret that a lot of us have doubts over whether or not we can attract girls, thats why those individuals are here, to learn how they can attract them. Realizing that the ability to attract is inherent allows that confidence to come through and defuses AA quicker than a lightning bolt.

But it has a deeper effect, I think removing oneself from the mechanical approach to seduction allows them to truly enjoy the process. Instead of just a means to an end, it becomes a part of who you are not what you do. Your game then becomes grounded, you aren't thinking about a clever line to say or using a certain technique, you just do them because it feels natural. You move with purpose and everything you do is with purpose, but desperation no longer lingers around it.

I just wanted to let that out there because I feel recently this sub has been lacking in discussions and I think a large part of our growth in seduction comes by sharing each other's thought processes surrounding it.
