So I went out last night at this little bar I always wanted to go in and to my surprise they had a live band. The place was alright and well lit and people were having fun. Then this chick walks in with her friends and this dude, who was not interested. She looks at me straight in the eye for about a good 4 times. I was actually enjoying the music as well and wanted to make a move. The dude they were with started crying at the bar and a couple of college dudes were playing pool at the back of the bar. She wanted to have fun and looks at me straight in the eye again. Like she wanted me to pull her in the dance floor. And instead of me just walking up to her and pull her by the hand, I fucked my mind up with how I cannot dance, but maybe I can or maybe not. So I paid my tab and left with everyone looking at me like weirdo, because the party has just started. The bartender shakes my hand and tells me to come back and "stay longer" next time. I didn't embrace my nervousness, didn't make myself vulnerable and polarized nobody. What do I learn from this? If I don't learn anything, I hope you do.
