To build on Tofu's excellent advice: make sure your room is conducive to seduction before you leave for the evening.

Your first priority should be cleanliness. Do not leave dirty towels or laundry on the floor or bed. Do not leave your suitcase on the floor or by the bed. Place your luggage and clothing in the closet and close the closet door.

If you bring a girl to the room she will likely make a beeline to the restroom to "freshen up." Don't let its condition make her uncomfortable or give her an excuse to leave: push used towels and washcloths into a neat pile under the sink, make sure all counter surfaces are dry and uncluttered, and pull down your toilet seat and lid.

Make sure that your bed is made, but that the comforter has been pulled back to make the bed more inviting. Turn off your desk lamp and push the desk chair in. This will discourage her from sitting at the desk, and subtly prompt her to sit on your bed--which is where you really want to be escalating.

Keep a couple of bottles of water on the bedside table. She WILL want water. Excessive alcohol consumption might have dehydrated her, or she might like something to rinse her mouth with before making out. Either way visible water is a great comfort builder.

I also like to set the mood before I leave my room for the evening. I kill all overhead lights in the room. They're harsh, and women generally feel less attractive under them. If your target doesn't FEEL sexy she probably won't GET sexy with you. Keep one or two lamps on instead. Dim, soft lamp lighting is much better for her comfort and your chances.

Have some "make out" music playing softly on loop in the background. It fills the uncomfortable silence some hotel rooms have, and it will muffle the sounds of your physical intimacy--should you get that far. This minor consideration of her privacy does wonders for her susceptibility to your advances.

Also, if you've invited your target up under the pretense of having drinks make sure you have EVERYTHING you need to quickly make and enjoy drinks: 2 glasses, ice, a bottle of alcohol, and MIXER. Don't let your game become disrupted by a last minute run to the ice or vending machine do to lack of foresight.

Finally, make sure you've got protection near your bed--preferably in the bedside table drawer. You don't want condoms in plain sight, but make sure they're readily accessible when you need them.

I've found that when I prepare my hotel room in the way described above I can effortlessly escalate once I get my target back. Plus, knowing that my room is sex-ready before I go out adds a layer of confidence to my pick-up that makes me bolder and smoother in the field.
