Just need a few pointers, does this change the way you behave with women, and if so, how?

I've heard the "act attractive if you want to be attractive" thing, but the fact is that not everyone is attractive. Should my attractiveness play any role in the way I act?

Also, unrelated question but: how often and how much should you compliment or indicate interest in a girl explicitly? (if at all)
