Lads, I've gotten into a slight pickle recently.

So I'm a college kid and I've been self-improving for almost a year now. My game has gotten really solid for lots of things and I go out sober for improvement reasons.

Bit of a back story before I dive into the problem - a few months ago I pulled this chick home from a party in literally 5 minutes. It was only when we got home and she was passing out while we were making out that I realized that she was waaaaay too drunk.

I said "fuck this, I'm not going to jail," and didn't have sex with her, though her friend banged on my door and dragged her away (bear in mind that the chick I was hooking up with was having a blast).

This was a sticky situation as I don't like "taking advantage" of girls when they're hammered. I'm also fairly certain her friend told people that I was intending to use her - which is not true.

Fast forward to last night - I was out on campus at this massive party, and I'm having a blast pulling in chicks and dancing with them and being really sexual for fun.

I ran into this girl who's like a buddy and I've known her for a bit, and because I'm having fun and I'm in a sexual mood we start dirty dancing. She was really drunk and I wasn't planning on hooking up with her, we were just having fun.

Out of nowhere this guy from my floor (who's friends with the drunk girl from way back) pulls her away and says "she's too drunk, you can't take advantage of her."

This is literally the most pathetic thing I've ever seen. He's too busy policing my actions to focus on his night, and I tell him it's not sexual.

He presses on and asks me if I'm sober, to which I reply "yes."

Then, he gets all of his friends involved (he's a fairly popular guy, if not a chode with women) and they start scheming to get her away from me.

They succeeded, and while I don't associate with people's opinions of me, I feel like they're brewing up some poisonous rumors about me that could be really harmful to my social life here.

The guy is definitely throwing out shit that isn't true. My game is a lot better than his and I think it's a tinge of jealousy that's motivating him. He's also gotten a lot of his circle in on this rumor, and I'm not sure how to manage it.

I see these people at a lot of the parties I go to and I don't want white knights policing my actions under false pretenses.

What do you gents recommend for dealing with something like this?

TL;DR: A while back, I accidentally brought home a blackout drunk girl that I didn't have sex with. I go out sober and her friends are starting a rumor that I go out to take advantage of drunk girls. How do I deal with this?
