You feel defeated. I got that, it sucks. You had your moment to sulk now you must move forward. The one thing making you sad is yourself.

Think of it like this, you did gain something from that night, experience. Everything you do, win or lose, gives you experience. You have to build on that night. You will have to go out again and again and again. See you out there friend.

Hey man, we've all felt defeated and hopeless at times. What you have to do is keep trying, learn from your mistakes, and accept the fact that you will make them. Don't feel sorry for yourself and dwell in self-pity. It does nothing for you.

Use this feeling as motivation to improve yourself. You got this buddy!

Not a big fun of quoting imagined characters, but, god damn it, it works for me perfectly. Whenever I feel sad, miserable I remind myself how fucking great I am, how much potential I have and go do something fun. It may be night at bar with your friend, you don't have to pick up girls, go out, relax, chill out. You're awesome, and never forget about that.

Oh and a... keep your mind away from anything that makes you feel bad, go to gym, find hobby, get a job - lots of options.

You're going to suffer defeats. Nothing you can do about that. It's not a reflection on you, there's a million different factors at work.

The important thing is that you went out and tried, that's more than a lot of other guys who sat at home can say.

Sometimes we win... sometimes we lose. It's how we handle those losses that defines us. If you use this failed day as an excuse for not going out in the future then you've handled this loss poorly. If you shrug it off and say "Shit happens" or "Just wasn't my day" then you're headed more in the right direction. Your choice.

These things happen. Its not the end of everything by any means. If you want to accept the good that can come from talking to girls and being social you have to accept the bad. In time it will become more even sailing but you have to stick with it.
