I can give out some male perspective if you want. Generally I would recommend to drop the concept of getting sexual, but we need to become a couple. Treat this two things separately, if you directly put out such condition, many guys won't feel comfortable about escalate anything with you. Instead, stay more in the moment and feel to what extent you want to push your relation. If guys is going too fast, communicate it clearly that it's too fast. If you really want relationship, give your potential dates some time to evaluate whether they would be good for serious partner. You can take some time with it, but not too long, most guys will understand it if they are also open to something more than casual sex.

You'll face rejection from filtering out the men who have 0 interest in waiting. So get to meeting people until you do find someone who wants the same thing. You're not going to talk a Lion into being a Zebra.

Setting your boundaries is not killing the mood. In fact it’s the opposite; putting more value on yourself thus in general making you look more attractive to your counterpart. This applies to men and women.

Unlike you, I’m much more into casual sex and throw sexual jokes and innuendos here and there deliberately but if my female colleague says “ok that’s a bit too far” then she clearly let me know where she draws the line which I respect.

Same thing if a woman begs me to do something for her if I said I don’t wanna do it or I don’t have time, majority of the time I can see her giving me more respect. Bottom line is people treat you the way you treat yourself.

Have good communications skills, be honest with him and tell him what you told us here. Say it when you're at an emotional high.

OK so I might be making assumptions about my gender, but it's my personal opinion that when you're on a date with a guy, you won't be able to dismiss all thoughts of sex. It doesn't matter if you are flirting or not, if you are just active in a conversation and laughing at jokes, he's going to assume you're into him that way. Only advice I can suggest is set the boundary before the date.
