I seem to have the opposite problem from others. You see, I'm a pretty social guy, and my work requires that I spend time with customers one on one. I deal with people of all age, gender, shapes and sizes. I carry myself well, be behave professionally, and I can inject humor into my conversations.

I'm not perfect, but I can talk to people. The problem is, I can't meet girls in flirtatious environments. I can't go to clubs. For one thing, I can't dance to save my life. So going into one by myself seems very scary. Having friends go with me is out of the question since I hang out with a nerdy crowd. If I can feel comfortable in these environments, I don't think I'd do too bad in the conversation department. I'm wondering if there's a way to overcome this obstacle? Hell, I don't even care about meeting girls. I just want to find a way to be comfortable in these kinds of places.
