What are you saying is called "push-pull".
I don't use it in the conventional ways, so it usually goes something like that for me...
I need to tell you something, I've been hiding it for really really long and haven't been honest with you, i don't think we can keep our friendship any longer if i don't let you know this... Shes like "OMG" WHAT IS IT WHAT IS IT, you build lots of tension, pulling her to what you're about to say and then you go like.
I'm batman. or whatever stupid shit is in your mind.
Something else I've been using is: You should come by to my place, i need help with something... hehe. And then you "push"... i need you to help me to move my furniture.
It's generally making flirting way more fun for me.
However my suggestion is you should use it sincerely, to express yourself and state your opinion, no matter what is it. Lets say she says shes from Russia, and you don't like russians, you make it clear(in a fun, playful way), hug her and say you'll make an exception for her.
It's really about constantly escalating, showing interest, being self-expressive and not letting her shit tests affect you in any way.
