I've seen some discussion recently about what kind of success rate we should expect from cold approach. I guess I'm (30M) not really typical as I was looking for a girlfriend (i.e. not just to get laid) in my cold approach efforts and thus stopped when I found a girlfriend after 10 approaches. My stats are interesting though - out of 10 approaches I got two numbers which led to two dates. The other girls either said they were in a rush and couldn't talk or that they have boyfriends. I'm just wondering if my success rate is typical or if other people have better/worse experiences? Was I lucky in the girls I approached to have fairly good success rate early on (i.e. 1 date for every 5 girls approached)?
