The uncanny valley is a term used to describe the creepiness of life like robots. The idea being that on one end you have extremely cute robots that look nothing like humans (ie. Wall-E) and on the other end you have extremely life like robots that are indistinguishable from humans (ie. Terminator). And in between, in the uncanny valley, you have a large variety of increasingly distressing, "almost human" forms. The uncanny valley is generally not represented as a smooth, symmetrical curve, but instead an extremely sharp one that precipitously declines into extremely negative territory almost at the edge of lifelike forms (ie. Zombie-like) just before it shoots up into lifelike territory.

I feel there is a similar uncanny valley between being a beta and an alpha. The closer you are to an alpha (ie. inner game, high value, social proof), the greater the potential for outright revulsion when there is a sudden revelation of beta traits. For example afraid to escalate or touch a beautiful woman, even though she is clearly attracted to you. Suddenly, the extremely high consideration the woman has given to you dramatically collapses, resulting in potentially even pure hatred as the woman feels she has almost been duped. Also, the powerful sexuality and anticipation the woman was feeling now has ice cold water thrown onto it. The woman doesn't just reject you, she abhors what you represent. Perhaps even what you represent about herself as well. Even more than if you were some random dude she brushed off. Just as people experience profound revulsion in the robotic uncanny valley.

I believe this pure hatred may potentially overlap with the concept of "auto rejection". Auto rejection is a fascinating topic, with one of its core characteristics being a highly unstable dynamic between attainability and value perception. Although auto rejection is also a much broader idea with many pathways into it, I do suspect that "pure hatred" response can potentially be categorized as a form of auto rejection (girl sees your value, but you are unwilling to escalate, making her feel unattractive).

If you face this uncanny valley of attraction which dissolves into pure hatred, it may mean that you are actually doing a lot of things extremely right. But there are still some major learnings that must be integrated, especially around middle to later stages of a seductive encounter.
