So this is an update to the actual date.

She 1, did not flake. We met up and grabbed coffee and a pastry and had a walk in the park.

She was cute, but she was a little weird tbh. She talked alot about how she wasn't sure what she wanted in a guy and how she's still figuring herself out.

I thought this was kind of odd, because if she was anything like her text pattern, she wouldn't be this talkative but I rolled with it. I also found it odd because I never once mentioned my intentions, but she was already assuming a lot.

Besides that talk and a lot of personal sharing from her part. The date was pretty fun. I let loose a bit, opened up about my own views and ideals about relationships. I didn't delve into specifics because I thought that be a bit much but I framed out my opinions to her and we discussed. I usually don't have these super personal talks right off the bat, but again, this girl seemed to want to talk about this so I rolled with it.

We still had some good banter, got to know a bit more about her. I did bring up as a little way to tease her, how I really couldn't get a good read on her. She apologized and said she's just in a weird place in her life.

I didn't make a big deal of anything and overall had a better time then expected.

Tbh, after all this. I wasn't entirely into her. Besides being super hard to read and talk to over text. I didn't feel a real connection on the actual date. I gave her a kiss on the cheek when I dropped her off. She said she'd like to talk some more, but gave vague days on when that would happen. I basically told her, I had fun and would like that, but you should just let me know when you would like to, that might just be easier.

So it wasn't my worst or best date. And I am glad, I went for it, despite the obstacles before.

Sometimes its a shit test, sometimes its bad texting. At the end of the day, i dont think women are fragile or incapable of speaking their mind. If she didn't want to go out with me she could have said no to the text. Maybe she was right in thinking we wouldn't connect and I was too naive but meh, who's to say that exceptions can't happen.

I still believe my original point of the post still stands. We go on dates to have fun. I shaped my frame of mind from being nervous too being excited for a new "challenge" and it worked well for me. If anything, I got some good experience with a type of girl I've never been out with before, and I had a fun time.

Side note: super funny, that some people in the original post were telling me to have an abundance mindset. That's the advice I've given to other people on this sub LOL. I understand abundance guys, I don't chase after every weak response. I was just challenging myself. And I might keep doing that honestly in other ways.

Anyways! Not a super exciting ending to this story. But just updating for those who wanted to know.

Sorry it took so long, honestly that date went pretty long and I just got home.
