What am I doing wrong?

I think you suffer from where I came from.

My background: Fairly good looking, gym for the last 10 years ever other day, not jacked just in shape. MBA, 3.9GPA, good job now, nice car. Fun hobbies, etc.

However, I was raised in a family where sex was absolutely shunned upon. My parents sleep in separate rooms. Even in college, I was railed out many times when my parents found my girlfriend was sleeping over.

You brought up you're a 'nice guy' and I think you hit the nail on the head. You can be good looking, have charisma, etc.. but if you're not explicitly leading things to where you want, you'll fail every time.

A very good book on this is 'No More Mr. Nice Guy'... it's much less 'mean' than it sounds. Basically, it talks about how people like us try to please others, try to be funny and entertaining, but don't go after what we want, especially with women. This is a huge turn off.

Hope that helps. I think you have most things going for you, but just need to alter your perception of things.

Well, I can't imagine too many girls getting turned on by a guy describing himself as "bubbly."

You're very young and will figure all of this out the old fashioned way. Let your awkward teenage years be just that, it builds character.

But for the sake of your gender, never put another smiley emoji on anything.
