I like what reggieband said, but I come from the school of thought that says don't be afraid to lead them on. Ideally, you should technically be "leading on" everyone you talk to. Look at a guy like Bill Clinton- he can't help it that people are attracted to him. He's not gonna speak differently to an 80-year-old woman (or man) than he would to Monica Lewinsky (well, maybe he will in the bedroom/oval office). In other words, anyone who talks to him is gonna be "led on" by him. So don't ever stop running your magic on people, even if you're not attracted to em. It's practice, and it helps you develop a way of communicating that's meant to be attractive to everyone.

You'll find girls who think you're interested and you might be forced into some makeouts, and even sex if they're really persuasive/forceful about it (shit happens). It just comes with the territory.

I was pretty neglected growing up..I am not going to lie to you and tell you that the reason I do this is to feel accepted...fuck yea I do..I love feeling as if I belong. as the only gf I ever had told me last time we spoke "you're a fucking freak and have no feelings and only want people to love you...get some fucking help"

I understand exactly how you feel since I was there not long ago. To get over AA (approach anxiety) it does work to approach everyone, including girls you aren't interested in, cashiers and service workers, random people in the park, etc.

Once you get comfortable approaching lots of people and starting conversations then you will notice some of the girls you are uninterested in are showing you high levels of attraction. That can get awkward if you are a nice guy, since you don't want to lead them on. If you start to notice that happening often (not just once or twice) it is time to start exclusively approaching women you would be happy starting a relationship with.

To practice approach, conversation and attraction building you don't have to "go all the way". You can save that for women you really do want to be with.

p.s. Finding "the one" is like trying to find a needle in a haystack; you have to go through a lot of hay to find the needle.
