Dont try to win a persons affection with gifts.

Dont try to "convince" someone how awesome you are.

Dont pander. Be true to yourself.

Take it from me, don't take her to dinner. It's awkward to eat in front of somebody else especially if it's a date. You'll have to make pauses to eat and that kind of ruins the flow of the conversation. Besides it's likely you'll get bad breath afterwards.

Silence in a movie isn't really getting to know someone. It may be fun, you should be a little more comfortable with the person otherwise it can get weird with trying to put your arm around them and all that blather

Don't bombard her with complements. It comes off as a weak bribe for sex.

Ask a bunch of questions, let her do most of the talking.

Don't fight, get her to tell you what's bothering her. Bug her until she says it; the only way a woman will get over whatever it is is if you open her up.

Don't ruin your mystery by texting/calling all the time. The phone is for setting dates.
