A great push pull method is to use sarcasm. Just like any other part of game you have to know when and how. Sarcasm in the form of wit, not rudeness...women love sarcasm because it can display an alpha quality, is playful, and can be perceived as intelligent.

Another thing that works well is to pace your conversation through text or phone. When texting, if you can reply in witty ways and decide what you'll say based on how she'll react - rather than just talking for the sake of talking- you can control the direction of the converrsation. Also showing interest sometimes verbally ,but then pulling back emotionally at the right moment

"Knowing how" implies being in your head which tends to come off as being awkward. Better to hold to an inner frame such as, "She's into me but I'm not sure if she's right for me."

If deep inside you that frame is strong: attraction plus skepticism ... then try to feel your body and vibe with her on an instinctive level. When you do that, the push-pull lines come out spontaneously and will feel more genuine.

Say "you're horrible" while having your arm around her (push and pull together)

"Did you just touch my butt?!" Flipping the script. Act like she is hitting on you. (So that she is pulling)

Literally turn your back to her, when she says something you don't like. (Push)

These are some things I do, try it out and see what works for you. The WAY you bring these kind of things is super important. Otherwise it can come off as rude. Good luck

Knowing what you want from the girl.
knowing how it works.
knowing when to use it and when to stop.

How do you go about approaching and making it seem like you want her while simultaneously seeming like you don’t care?

I don't. I do care.

Pickup isn't about sneaking up on a girl, or camouflaging your intentions.

In my opinion, the better I guy is at this, the more subtle it is. That said, guys start out being blunt and gradually sharpen their skills.

How do you compliment someone throughout a conversation without inflating their ego?

Why are you complimenting?
What are you expecting to happen?
What and how are you complimenting?
Why should her ego inflate?

How do you make yourself come across as someone to be chased after you initiate the conversation?

She's going to "chase" me, because she wants more conversation/more of the experience.
