Back in college I converted a girl who hard-core brother zoned me but I started having feelings. She would always flirt with me but friendly and tell me about her crushes. I eventually gave her an ultimatum and told her not to contact me. She was in another state. Later she moved to NY and stayed with me. We did it the first night she moved. So it can be done. The strongest position in a relationship is being able to walk away and meaning it.
