I'm fairly new, but I want to learn. If my ultimate goal is to date the hb8-10s of the world is there merit in approaching women whose numbers I wouldn't want in the first place. I've even heard advice like go out of your way to start conversations with 5-10 hired guns every day. It seems like a misallocation of experience.

I could understand if the average person the advice is given to is a social recluse but approaching everyone seems excessive for a beginner.
