So one day whilst walking home this girl approached me and started a conversation saying she notices me at the gym and in class.

The next few days in class she started to look at me a lot and I saw her in the gym where I approached flirted and gave her my number.

Last week she approached me when I was walking from class again saying I gave her the wrong number because she never received a message back.

I gave her the right number and asked her out, she said she can do Friday but she has a boyfriend and was wondering if I was asking her out romantically? I said yea I was , and she smiled saying I have a bf but we can hangout or get lunch. I just walked home confused. Does this mean anything , why would she give me choosing signals and want my number if she has a boyfriend?
