What does your room look like?

Well it's currently large bedroom with a bed, side table, sofa, floating bookshelves, large chest, bookshelf, and a walk in closet. My floor is covered with wires, books, magazines, and my clothes. I'm moving out permanently soon, so I gotta gather my stuff up. My dream room is on the side of my dream house facing the Pacific Ocean. Floating bed in the center of the room and a single sheet of glass that gives an uninhibited view of the Pacific Ocean. Think Tony Stark's room from Iron Man.

I live in the ballroom, on the 3rd floor, of an old victorian mansion. The entire ballroom is one big L shape. My sleep area is 1/3 of the ballroom located in the bottom line of the L. It's segregated from the vertical line of the L by "see-thru" bookshelves full of records. On top of the bookcases are large elephant ear style plants. My bed is in what was once a billiards room at the end of the bottom line of the L. It's this bed almost exactly. The foot of the bed faces away from the rest of the open space further creating segregation. I've hung curtains across the opening to the billiards room for privacy if needed. I've placed my dresser right up against the back of my headboard. It's the malm dresser from ikea so it matches the bed frame in both height and finish. The rest of my "bedroom" consists of a burgundy chesterfield sofa, two wasilly chairs, an oriental rug, generic wood coffee table, and a drafting table/desk..

I had to think a bit about how to explain this odd living space.

Messy now, work's been crazy. That's step #1, I think; getting my place ready should get me in the right frame of mind when I'm out. My ideal place would be bigger than a studio... and have better air flow.

Well my tables covered with computer parts mixed with clothes. I have a large StarTrek Movie light above my futon. Fuck I never letem see my room.
