I'm wondering what is actually known with certainty about Tinder's algorithm, what information is out there that has come out of a reliable source (someone employed at Tinder or Tinder itself)?

I watch some of these Tinder advice videos and these guys throw out all sorts of claims about what impacts your elo score and so forth and I wonder whether they're pulling this stuff out of their you know what or actually relaying confirmed info.
