What makes a good FR?

A good FR will generally connect the principles and practices of pickup, with actual in-field experience. The FR does not even have to be a success, sometimes failure is more educational than success. But it should give some information on how you applied what you know, and how you learned from it and how others could learn too.

Age range - high school, college, adult, etc.

Basic details - height, weight, fitness, clothes..

Country - India is different than Indiana.

Venue - high end bar, sports bar, concert, book store, college campus, etc

Type of game - night, day, online, social circle, traveling.

Style - direct. Indirect, no style.

What your goal is - numbers, instadate, make out, pull.

The girls - Rocker Chick, sorority girl, Ms. Mini Skirt. Describing a girl with numbers only tells is what your subjective (over) value is, and nothing about her personality.

FR - field report from the West Coast.

Suited up at the Martini Bar. Happy hour. Nursing a Scotch. Shouldn't be sipping on anything on Wednesday, but the game calls.

A crew of worker bees comes in loud as hell. About five people, they all seem to know each other. Two of them are cute, but Ms Pants Suit has clearly been doing squats.

The one guy on the group looks like he's BEEN seeing what I'm seeing for the first time.

I need to open the group, neutralize the guy if necessary, and figure out their logistics. But also figure out the group dynamics.

The hot girls are the center of the conversation, so I'll open the girls on the periphery. Environmental opener, and then draw in the other girl. Use our conversation to challenge the hot girls dominance of the group.

Girls react predictably to What's up with Katy Perry. Laughs come. Hot girls look over.

"Cool story dude."

Poindexter feels threatened and tries to assert his dominance. Crush him.

"My bad bro, Is this your girlfriend (don't give him time to answer) How long have you been dating?"

Say nothing, let him try to awkwardly fill in the gap....

Switch back to the full set of 5, and find out what they're celebrating....

The point of the field report is to give the reader a good idea of the scene, what the people are like, but also the mindset of the player.

Usually the mistake is in how the guy approaches the task, not the "technique". So seeing boys thought process is key to figuring out the puzzle.
