About to turn 37. I dress pretty current and look pretty young.

I am seeing girls 22, 28.and 29 currently.

I think we tend to overestimate how much age matters to women.

I'm 48, though, don't look it or act like it. And I'm doing decently in the early 30s range, 32 seems to be a sweet spot. (I sure as hell wouldn't be interested in 64 year-olds!) I've had a few instances where even into the early to mid-20s seemed to be showing interest but I didn't or couldn't really follow up.

Dress well, get a good haircut, whiten your teeth, get/keep yourself fit (I'd recommend lifting over cardio), i.e. look your best; ask questions listen to them (guys their age aren't), share wisdom but don't get preachy, don't brag about what you have or have done.

If they ask how old, just say old enough to drink, ignore it or turn it on them. I've been going out with one fairly regularly, 32, she started to ask my age one night, paused and then said, oh, it doesn't matter. And it seems not to.

I learned most of my "approach" in college when I was 30. I'm 34 now, but people seem to think I'm a "college kid".

I don't think I look young, but I smile a lot, and perhaps women just see a handsome dude and age doesn't matter at that point.

Currently, if I'm out at bars, I just chat with everyone. Usually my pick up is online, because it works better for a schedule. I'm able to hit up women when it suits me.

Don't go to bars anymore but the number of girl regularly going to bars is only about 10-15% of any community....and frankly in today's world tons of girls 20-29 are fucking tired of the lame young dudes with the social skills of a toad....

Frankly, the vast majority of young dudes are stuck in the too cool to be attractive stage and don't know shit about women not to mention the douche bag bro type.

If you are actually in shape, cool and listen then you can meet all sorts of attractive women on various ages.

My Girlfriend is 20 and I'm 31. We met at a techno party. Almost my entire circle of friends stayed kind of young. I still go to the same parties and stuff. I wouldn't stop doing things I like due to age. Let society look weird or w/e at it. I don't care and my gf doesn't care.

I'm 30 and don't drink, don't really cold approach although I'm pretty friendly with vague acquaintances. The last year has been a big learning experience for me. Not claiming to have reinvented the wheel here, but I found that focusing on self-improvement and a good, stable attitude did wonders for my ability to sustain interest from girls I had a good connection with--basically, instead of frantically searching for hacks to meet way more random women, I focused on increasing my retention rate** from the women I did meet. I analyzed my appearance, the subjects I talked about, the things I did and said in the past which were appealing or unappealing to women--one nice thing about being old is that you start to be able to discern patterns in this kind of thing.

As for actually meeting them? I keep banging this drum, but online dating works pretty well if you bother to present yourself as an individual and have good photos. Meetups, concerts, and social circle introductions are also good. Also think about volunteering or picking up a casual part-time job which has good socialization opportunities--not only will you meet women, but you'll improve your social skills while getting paid for it.

That said, not all hobbies and charities etc are created equal for this purpose. Think about the gender ratio, but also think about what the overall profile of the group is, and how likely you are to meet women who meet your standards and share your interests.

**Specifically: Get good at sex. Like, really good. Do ab exercise, forearm and hand exercises at the gym, stay in good enough shape to have good stamina, learn about good sexual communication, explore your kinks, know your own body and what instinctively turns it on. There are a lot of weird reasons why girls throw up mental barriers to a guy they've been on a couple dates with, but trying to think of, and preempt, all of those will just drive you crazy. Being good at sex is the best way to help her mind conquer those fears (with help from biology, of course!).

Yes there are bars and clubs for older folk. I went to one once and I saw a lot of elderly gentlemen dressed well not in what you would consider club wear but it didn't matter. The women were aplenty and were dancing, talking and doing all the usual things you see in clubs, just not making out (thats a young people thing to be sucking face in public).
