From what I understand, In the old days, 'game' actually required 'learning'/reading, as you had to learn about openers and DHV stories (to include certain elements such as protector of loved ones), and learning about the 'order' of conversation for a typical pull and remember certain 'attraction material'/routines and what sort of things you do next such as qualification and in what order etc etc. Quite a lot to think about

But now it seems that everything i read or watch basically describes 'game' as walking up to girls, showing your intent, and then escalating assuming she is attracted. Or walking away if she's not and screening the next girl

However, people who promote this newer model still say ''learn'' game. I'm thinking 'what needs to be learnt?!! Isn't that what every guy in history has basically already known and doesn't need to be told!!?'' And even if they somehow didn't already know that, it would take about 12 seconds to 'learn' (for example, the paragraph above this one teaches you game :)) making the word 'learn' a bit of a stretch!
