About a month ago I (19M) moved to a smaller town from a big city. It's actually not as boring as I thought considering that I stay in the "downtown" area. Although I haven't been here long, I became a regular at a gas station for some reason and notice a beautiful woman at the register that isn't normaly there. I began chating her up! She told me she just got this job but she's lived here for quite some time. I saw this as an opportunity and told her I was new and don't know the area really; that maybe she can show me around sometime. She smiled and paused for a moment and said " Yeah, maybe." Then I asked for her number and she replied with "You gotta try harder than that." I've never heard of that ever but it sounded like a really fun challenge but I also was confused if she was into me or not. Until recently...

Today, I went to the same gas station and at the registers were her and her manager. As I walked up I smiled and said " Where were you, I missed you yesterday?". She replied " I was here yesterday, I just had the morning shift." I saw this as a perfect opportunity and said " Oh that sucks, I tried harder like you said yesterday; I bought flowers and everything but didn't see you." This made her blush a little but then her manager exclaimed "Oh yeah, he was here when you was gone sweety!" She said while laughing. Then the girl I like face grew even brighter.

Is it me or does that register as a huge green flag because I never talked to the manager and she knows I have a thing for the new girl. Meaning that she talked to her manager about me sometime.

What should be my next move? I already got an idea, I'd just love to hear more!
