There’s this girl, and she’s exactly my type. I don’t know if it’s just a crush or infatuation, but I think I’m really falling for her.

We used to go to the same gym about two years ago. We never talked, but I know for sure that she knows me because we shared a lot of eye contact while she was there. After some time, she quit the gym, and I never saw her again. I still regret not talking to her back then. That was around 1 to 1.5 years ago.

Fast forward to the present—I still can’t get her out of my mind, and that regret of not approaching her back then still lingers. But last week, I randomly saw a picture on an Instagram college page, and there she was. The first glance, and I instantly knew it was her.

At first, I held back and didn’t send a friend request. But yesterday, my intrusive thoughts won, and I finally sent it. I went to sleep, and boom—next morning, she accepted it and sent me a request as well. That confirmed that she remembers me.

Now, I need some advice. I really want to talk to her and get to know her, but would it be weird if I just messaged her out of nowhere? I don’t want to mess this up, so all opinions are welcome. Help a fellow mate out!
