I’m still processing what just happened. Alright so I left the gym and went straight to the grocery store to pick up some eggs. While I was going to the dairy section, a woman and I came into eye contact and we locked eyes for what it seemed to be a long time but really it was like 2 seconds or so. I continued to look for the eggs and then I heard the woman compliment my backpack that I had on (it’s a zombie themed backpack). I told her thanks and we just started a conversation like it was nothing. Next thing I knew, she gave me her number. Its really no big deal, but this rarely happens. If it doesn’t work out, I won’t lose any sleep about it but this really was a boost in confidence for me that I wasn’t expecting. 🙂

Edit 20:46: well i texted her a couple hours ago, but no response. Oh well 🤷‍♂️. Not really going to overthink it, but I am still thankful for the experience. My confidence is still up despite this.
