Self explanatory title^

I've had what seems to be endless first dates but it seems almost impossible to get a second. I've gone out with girls who I built rapport for weeks with (snapchat streaks of 20+ days, talking on phone, gaming, etc) and even a few initiated physical and/or verbal flirting, ended on a kiss, and they texted me directly after the date saying they had a good time and would like to do it again, but still 90+% of the time they never follow through. Other girls I've met with building little to no rapport and similar scenario; the ones who would want a second date I dont usually want a second from... note that I am extremely picky and only really chase women I find very attractive and/or have a LOT in common with.. I've had opportunities to drop the standards and quick flings with mid-tier, less-in-common ladies but for me its quality over quantity and I have yet to use manipulation tactics listed on some of these threads (I prefer honesty and would hope for a potential relationship not just to trick them into sex) but seeing how things are going maybe I'll change it up to match today's dating standards... I'm just wondering if I'm somehow messing up some well established rule for after the first/obtaining a second date, or if anyone else is experiencing the same thing with an abundance of flakey women. Perhaps it's just my ugly mug 😁 (although this is just a joke it's a real thought I have sometimes considering before meeting they can seem super interested but after they can ghost or fade out). No matter how many times it happens itll never shatter my confidence because I'm very content with single life but I'm gettin pretty tired of it and wonder how others deal with it constantly.

Cheers
