I was out with some girls and guys, and as it turns out, one of the girls there actually knew some girl I dated. I told the group that I had actually grown up with her, and knew all her family. We dated for a while in College, and then she dumped me. I said she was really interesting, and I would always cherish our time together. Did I handle that situation correctly? When you talk about exes are you supposed to just say nice stuff without going overboard?
